Take a Celtic Pilgrimage with John Doan’s music

March 2, 2014 Celebrities, Events Comments
John Doan, harp guitarist.

Master harp guitarist, storyteller, and historian John Doan performs on his renowned harp guitar this month in select venues near Portland and Salem, Oregon.

Doan’s new program, Celtic Pilgrimage, carries the listener visually and musically back to the time to the year 433 when St. Patrick began his missionary work in Ireland. This was a period when arts and literature flourished and the Emerald Isle experienced spiritual renewal,  relative peace – the dawning of the Golden Era.

Through Doan’s music, his stories and video displays, concert goers will transcend time and experience their own Celtic pilgramage, even if ephemeral.

“I hope to see you at one of the upcoming concerts,” John Doan.
